Elysium is set in the year 2154 due to the over population of people it has divided the popuplation into two different groups the very wealthy live on a man-made space station Elysium. While the rest of the population live on a ruined Earth full of crime, poverty, and they need good medical care available on Elysium. A man rises up and takes on a mission to make everthing equal.

Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall

This is another film for the people who enjoys action, comedy and crime this summer.

It's in cinema's on the 14 August it runs for 103 mintues. It's been directed Jeff Wadlow.

It is based on a comic book and is the second part of the film Kick-Ass. This part is all about getting Red Mist getting revenge on Kick-Ass and everyone he knows because of the death of his father. In this part as well Kick-Ass decides to become a superhero again with a group of normal citizens.

If you enjoy a bit of crime, action and comedy then 2Guns is the film for you this summer.

Its in cinema's on the 16 August it runs for 109 mintues. It was directed by Baltasar Kormákurs.

2Guns is based on a graphic novel. Its about a DEA agent Bobby Trench and U.S. naval intelligence officer Marcus Stigman they are working as undercover as members of a narcotics syndicate, each man distrusts.  While fleeing, they learn the secret of their shaky alliance: Neither knew that the other was an undercover agent.

The Mortal Instruments - City Of Bones is in the cinemas on the 21 August it runs for 2 hours and 10 mintues. It is directed by Harald Zwart.

It is based on a book series about a ordinary teenager Clary Fray who discovers she's part of a line of Shadowhunters. When her mother dissappears she joins the Shadowhunters and gets introduced to the downworld which is filled of all sort of dangerous creatures such as demons,  vampires, werewolves and more.

Films To Watch Out For!

The other day I was bored so I decided to look at the Odeon website and see what films where in the top 10, when I came across films that are coming soon. So over this next posts are of films coming soon.

The Vamps

I was looking through twitter when I came across The Vamps an indie band from the UK.

The Vamps are a band that came out of YouTube from the UK like other artists like Connor Maynard and more. The band consits Bradley Will-Simpson 17, James McVey 19, Tristan Evans 18 and Connor Ball 17. Most of the events and the promotion of there band has been done through Social Media. They have performed in Alton Towers and other place like this they will be supporting Selena Gomez at the London Hammersmith Apollo on the 7th and 8th September.

The Vamps are also having there own fan rallies around the UK in Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and London. Here's the dates if your intersted. Don't worry it's free so why not head on.

Twisted

If you love Pretty Little Liars then you'll enjoy this new drama, mystery and thriller according to reviews they say that since the first episode they where addicted to it and I would have to agree with them on that one. This new mystery is available to watch on ABC Family on Tuesday's at 9.00pm. Make sure that before you watch it you catch up with the rest of the show because its been running since June 11 2013.

Twisted is about a teenger called Danny Desai who killed his aunt after spending 5 years in a juvenile detention center when he is released and when he moves back to his homtown. When he goes back he tries to reconnect his friendships whilst be judge by his peers. During this time one of there classmates is killed and he becomes the main suspect and he tries to clear his name.

Actors include Kylie Bunbury, Avan Jogia, Kimberly Quinn, Denise Richards, Maddie Hasson, Jo Masterson and more.

VidCon

If you love YouTube then you would have loved VidCon. Over the last couple of days it has been trending world wide. Although it's finished now it will be back again next year. Here's a bit more about this years VidCon.

VidCon is one of the largest conference and also fan gathering for online video in the world. This year's VidCon was on 1-3 August at the same venue Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, USA. Special Guests included vloggers like DailyGrace, danisnotonfire, Zoella, Jacksgap and more.VidCon has been running since 2010 and has gained more people attending each year. In 2010 there were 1,400, in 2011 there were 2,500, in 2012 there were 7,000 and this year they hoped to get around 10,000 people to attend.

If your intersted in next years VidCon it being hosted at June 26–28, 2014 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Make sure the you get your tickets before they sell out as this years ticket sold out more than a month in advance.

5 Second's Of Summer

5 Second's Of Summer is another boy band that has gone famous over YouTube. If you don't know who they are yet then you have to check them out.

They are a pop rock band from Sydney, Australia who are influenced by bands and artist like Blink-182, All Time Low, Ed Sheeran, Mayday Parade, Boys Like Girls, Busted and more.  The band is made of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin. Although they are signed with Sony ATV for a publshing most of there promotion is through the use of Facebook and Twitter

They have supported and joined people and bands like One Direction, Cher Llyod and Hot Chelle Rae. They have also done there own tours.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is one of the largest arts festival in the world. It starts on the 02-26 August around Edinburgh. Scotland!

Since I went to Scotland last weekend  to visit my friends I have decided that my next posts are going be about events going on in Scotland. I will also post some of the images I took on the journey up to Scotland.

PeeeM

Another great app is PeeeM. If you haven't heard about it yet here's some information about it.

PeeeM is a cross-platform messenger. That allows you to transfer any file no matter what size, it allows you to chat instantly, it allows you to have unlimited group chats, it has built in calls and more. It is available for iOS operating systems so far and soon on Android.

I haven't really tried this app yet but from the reviews it sounds like an excellent app. So why not give it a chance and download it.

Snapchat

Snapchat is the next big thing in apps. If you havent heard about yet let me explain.

 

Snapchat is a photo messaging application that takes snaps which have a time limit before they disappear forever unless that snap has been screenshot. Snapchat doesn't only allow them to take snaps but they can also record videos, add text and drawings.It is available for iOS and Android operating systems. So if you haven't downloaded it yet why not give it a try.

 

It was initial released during September 2011 and was created by students from Stanford University students which they came up during a product design university project by Spiegel and Bobby Murphy .There class mates didn't really like the idea of it. 

From my point of view I think its a great app its fun, a good way to communicate, easy to use, simple, funny and more. If you don't believe me why not give it a go. I don't think it will turn old because theres nothing else on the market like it.

Video Star

An app that I have really enjoyed during this summer so far is Video Star. Its fun, easy to use, entertaining, it brings you togther and more. If you haven't heard of it here's some information on what it is.

Video Star is an app that allows you to create your own music videos using the songs on your device and they even offer you a selection of free songs and diffrent effects. It is available from the Apple App Store. It allows you to upload on youtube on a hit of a button but also you can record anywhere.

I think its a great app that anyone can use another thing is you don't need anything. Also I think that its an app that will never get boring because you update the music on your phone every week or month which means you have new material to make a music video from

The Janoskians

The Janoskians are a group of teengers which got noticed through there Youtube account which they started on the 4 July 2010 there pranksters, singers, entertainers, comedy, stunt performers and more. They come from Melbourne, Australia and the group inludes 3 brothers Luke Brooks, Jai Brooks, Beau Brooks & 2 of there friends Daniel Sahyounie, James Yammouni. They are signed to Jay Sean and have recently come back from there world tour which they annoced through twitter and youtube  allowing there fans the chance to unlock there city. They have even had there own web-show  with MTV Australia and more.

I have decided to blog about the Janoskians because I have noticed that lately they having been trending a lot throughout social media such as twitter, youtube and more. But also they got there known for there videos on youtube. The main reason they use Social Media to let there fans know about what there doing because they got famous off  Social Media.

Every  thing they do is done through social media such as meets ups, there concert, tweet cam and more.

British MotoGP

If your a big fan of motoGP the time is nearly hear for the British MotoGP. So keep your eyes open and watch out because it's nearly hear.

IAAF Athletics World Championships

If your intersted in athletics something to watch out for this summer is the Athletics World Championships in Moscow, Russia.

In total this will be the 14th Athletics World Championships to be held. This year it will take place from the 10-18 August at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia.


Medals include from track to field. Track medals include 100  metres, 200 metres, 400  metres, 800 metres, 1500 metres, 5000 metres, 10,00 metres, marathon, 110 metres hurdles and more. Field medals high jump, long jump, shot put, triple jump, pole vault and more.

US Open Tennis

If your a tennis fan or not one thing to look at for this summer is the US Open. Could Andy Murry do it again only time will tell.

This year the US Open starts on the 26 August - 6 September. The location for this year is New York City, Queens at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It consits of 5 event championships the men's and the women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles, with additional tournaments for senior, junior, and wheelchair players.

Don't worry if you really want to see them live because there are still tickets up for sell. Tickets range from Individual Tickets, Group Sales, Mini Plans, Full Series, Event Cards, Supreme Tickets and more.

SW4 - South West Four is a two day festival which takes place in London at the Clampham Common.

Bestival

Bestival is a dance & an indie festival it lasts for four days. It is located in the Isle Of Wight at the Robin Hill Country Park.

This year it takes palce on the 5-8 September at the Robin Hill Country Park. Areas include the Bollywood Field, Stardust Field, Grassy Hill, Magic Medow and more. The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals which take part in Reading at Richfield Avenue and Leeds at Bramham Park the share the same bills. It usually takes place on the weekend of the August bank holiday.
