IAAF Athletics World Championships

If your intersted in athletics something to watch out for this summer is the Athletics World Championships in Moscow, Russia.

In total this will be the 14th Athletics World Championships to be held. This year it will take place from the 10-18 August at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia.


Medals include from track to field. Track medals include 100  metres, 200 metres, 400  metres, 800 metres, 1500 metres, 5000 metres, 10,00 metres, marathon, 110 metres hurdles and more. Field medals high jump, long jump, shot put, triple jump, pole vault and more.

US Open Tennis

If your a tennis fan or not one thing to look at for this summer is the US Open. Could Andy Murry do it again only time will tell.

This year the US Open starts on the 26 August - 6 September. The location for this year is New York City, Queens at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It consits of 5 event championships the men's and the women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles, with additional tournaments for senior, junior, and wheelchair players.

Don't worry if you really want to see them live because there are still tickets up for sell. Tickets range from Individual Tickets, Group Sales, Mini Plans, Full Series, Event Cards, Supreme Tickets and more.

Sporting Events

There has been alot going on in the sporting industry this summer such as The Ashes, Women's European Championships,  London Anniversary Games, IPC Athletics World Championships and more to come which I will be posting about over the next couple of days.

SW4 - South West Four

SW4 - South West Four is a two day festival which takes place in London at the Clampham Common. 

 

This year it takes place on the 24-25 August at Clampham Common, London. Stages include SW4 Main Stage, Carl Cox & Friends, The Politics of Dancing 3 and more. There are all kind of tickets of tickets up on offer such as weekend tickets, day tickets, VIP tickets and more.

Bestival

Bestival is a dance & an indie festival it lasts for four days. It is located in the Isle Of Wight at the Robin Hill Country Park.

This year it takes palce on the 5-8 September at the Robin Hill Country Park. Areas include the Bollywood Field, Stardust Field, Grassy Hill, Magic Medow and more. There are all kind of tickets up for sell  Adult Ticket with entry from Thursday 5th September , Adult Ticket with entry from Friday 6th September, Teen (age 13-17) Ticket and more.

Wilderness

Wilderness is a festival which is held for four days. It is a mixture of between live music, contemporary arts, an array of theatre, craftsmanship, dining experiences and more.

This year it takes place on the 8-11 August in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire. Stages include Main Stage, Magic & Games, Time Out Life and more.There are all kind of tickets up for sell such as weekend camping tickets, weekend campervan, weekend family and more.

Reading & Leeds

The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals which take part in Reading at Richfield Avenue and Leeds at Bramham Park the share the same bills. It usually takes place on the weekend of the August bank holiday.

This year it takes place on the 23-25 August at Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park. Stages include The Main Stage, NME/ BBC Radio 1 Stage , Radio 1 Dance Stage, Festival Republic Stage, BBC 1Xtra Stage, BBC Introducing Stage, Alternative Stage, Lock Up which is only on Saturday and Sunday, Rock Stage which is on Fridays and more. There all kind of tickets up on offer such as weekend tickets, day tickets, campervan tickets, early entry tickets and more.
